My Story: |
As a child, I was raised going to church. I remember one day sitting out in my yard looking at the grass and the trees and realizing that what my Sunday School teacher had told me about God making the world must have been true. I then recalled that she had also told me that I needed to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior in order to go to heaven. There, in my backyard, I closed my eyes and asked Jesus to come into my heart and save me. It was during my teenage and college years that God brought key people into my life who mentored and discipled me. They led me to develop a passion for ministry to others and eventually to missions. Later as a young adult God brought my wife into my life and we began to look for places to serve God together. Since that time, I have learned that God never leaves us and that He really does have a wonderful plan and purpose for each of us. My desire is to serve Him so that He will receive the glory and honor and praise He deserves from my life, my family and those around me. |
