I’m New Here

I’M NEW AT EASTSIDE. WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Maybe you are returning to church, or coming to church for the very first time. Or, maybe you’re an active church member who just moved to town and needs to find a new church home. Whatever your story, it’s likely you might have some questions. We’re going to try and guess what you might want to know on your first visit. If we have missed something, let us know!

What’s the Sunday Schedule?
8:15, 9:30, & 11:00 – Bible Study
9:30 & 11:00 – Worship Service

WHAT DO I WEAR?
You will see people in everything from shorts to suits on Sundays. Our concern isn’t what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside. Come as you are.
WHERE DO I PARK?
We set aside reserved parking for first time guests in the parking lot closest to Lower Roswell Rd.
IS THERE ANYTHING FOR MY CHILDREN?
Of course! We have Sunday options for newborns through high school seniors, including special times of worship designed just for the younger kids.
Discovery Park is for children ages 4-5 at 9:30
252 Kids is for 1st-5th graders at 9:30
Check out the Children’s page for more detailed information about what is available for all children, no matter what their age. By the way, we have college and singles classes also.
HOW WILL I FIND A BIBLE STUDY?
Take a look at our Adult class selections. That will give you some idea as to where you might want to go. On Sunday, stop by the Welcome Centers in the Main Foyer and the lobby by the Portico. A Welcome Team member can show you a listing of Sunday Bible studies, including a map of where each one is located. We want to get you connected!
YOUR BUILDING IS HUGE. HOW WILL I FIND MY WAY AROUND?
Our Campus Map and signage will help a lot. But the best way is to stop by the Welcome Centers. Our volunteer Welcome Team members will love to show you where you’re going – and even walk with you to make sure you find your way.
MAY I BRING A VENTE, TOFFEE-NUT MISTO COFFEE INTO CHURCH?
YES – but only if you bring one for the rest of us. (Just kidding). Yes, you may bring your drink with you. However, please be sure to finish it before you enter the Worship Center. That’s the one place food and beverages are not permitted. By the way, why not save your money and get coffee at church?
