Ballet
Eastside School of Ballet provides dancers an opportunity to dance from a uniquely Christian perspective, giving them a positive experience to explore their God given talents. The teaching style lays a solid foundation of the disciplines of classical ballet and tap techniques. Eastside School of Ballet desires to glorify God in all that we do.
Tuition and Fees
Registration Fee: $20 for all students (non-refundable)
Monthly Tuition
30 Minute Class $25.00 • 1.0 Hour Class $45.00 • 1.5 Hour Class $55.00
2.0 Hour Class $65.00 • 2.5 Hour Class $75.00
Monthly Tuition: Payment is due on the 1st of each month.
Late Fee: There will be a $10 late fee added after the 10th of the month due.
Preschool and Kindergarten students who attend the Eastside Weekday Preschool or Eastside Christian School have the option to take the 1:00-2:00 p.m. dance classes immediately following Lunch-bunch. The ballet instructor will escort your child from Lunch-bunch to dance class. On Thursday, only Kindergartners will be picked up from Lunch-bunch.
Class Offerings
Kinderdance
Forty minutes ballet, twenty minutes tap for the younger student. Emphasis will be placed on the 7 movements of dance, music awareness rhythm and beginner technique.
Combination
Forty minutes ballet, twenty minutes tap for the younger dancer ages 5-7 years. This class is designed for the older primary dancer and is more structured than a kinderdance class.
Ballet I/II
This class is for children 7 years of age and up. Correct placement and body alignment are now of utmost importance. Class structure greatly advances as barre work is introduced.
Int. Ballet/Advanced Ballet
At this level students will work toward perfecting all steps, skills and exercises introduced in Ballet I. Time at the barre is increased and the exercises are more advanced.
Invitational Levels
Admission to this class is dependent on the skill level of the dancer and is determined by the ballet instructor.
Advanced Ballet
Admission to this class is dependent on the skill level of the dancer and is determined by the ballet instructor.
Beg./Int. Pointe
Pointe work will be introduced at the discretion of the instructor according to age, strength and technical competency of the student.
Int./Adv. Tap
Returning students continue to learn basic tap technique and basic skills on a more difficult level.
Advanced Tap
Advanced students will continue to learn tap technique on a more difficult level. Special admission into this class is required.
