Eastside Basketball Camp
June 25 – 29 & July 16 – 20
Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
For the past 16 summers, the Recreation Ministry at Eastside Baptist Church has offered one of the best Basketball Camps in the area. We have found the perfect balance of fun, instruction and competition that leaves our campers thirsty for more. Whether it is the creative station work on fundamentals, the fun contests, the competitive basketball games, or the great friends they make, our campers can’t wait to get back to camp. Our camp is for boys and girls who will have completed 2nd – 7th grades this school year (2011-12). The camp fee is $140 for one week or $255 for both weeks. Additional family members can attend for $120 for one week or $215 for both weeks.

Eastside Sports & Skills Camp
July 9 – 13 & July 23 – 27
8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Like our Basketball Camp, our Sports & Skills Camp has been around for a long time. It strives to prepare your 5, 6 or 7 year old for future competition in a fun and loving environment. We introduce your child to Basketball, Soccer and Baseball/Softball, helping develop some of the basic fundamentals of those sports using fun, interactive games. We mix these activities with down time at our playground and breaks to keep their attention spans ready for instruction. Our camps are for those boys and girls who will have turned 5, 6 or 7 by August 31, 2012. The camp fee is $115 for one week or $215 for both weeks. Additional family members can attend for $105 for one week or $190 for both weeks.

Eastside Cheerleading Camp
July 23– 27
Monday – Thursday 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Friday 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
This very popular camp is for girls who are completing Kindergarten - 5th grade this school year. Ashley Cochran, a member of Eastside Baptist Church, will be our Camp Director. Ashley just completed her 7th year as the Head Cheerleading Coach at Pope High School and brings lots of experience to our camp. At our camp, your daughter will learn proper cheer, jump, tumbling, stunt and dance technique to give them the tools to become a great cheerleader. While at the camp, the girls will also spend some time having fun making a "Cheer craft" each day. During the week, our cheerleaders will be learning a cheerleading routine to demonstrate on the Friday of camp at 11:30 for parents and family members. Our Cheerleading Camp will be July 23 - 27. Camp hours will be Monday - Thursday at 9:00 - 1:30 and Friday at 9:00 - 12:00. Camp fee is $115.

Eastside School of Ballet Camps
June 25-29; July 16-20 (4-5 year old camp)
July 9 – 13 (6-9 year old camp)
Wrapping up its 19th year of operation, the Eastside School of Ballet has a reputation of developing and training top level dancers. Our summer camps are designed to give the beginning dancer a taste of what dancing is like and take the experienced dancers to the next level. Each camper will make a ballet craft and our 6 – 9 year old camp will take part in a Drama tract that the girls will love! On the Friday of camp, parents will be invited to an observation time to see what the girls have learned during the week. The camp fee for our 4 – 5 year old camps is $110 per week.
